Brausch, Al

Al Brausch was one of the outstanding managers during the early years of men’s slow pitch. His career spanned more than 20 years in Northern Kentucky.

He managed Joe Gatliff Auto Sales, Newport, Kentucky to three ASA National titles (1956, 1957, and 1963), two second places, one third place, and two fifth places. His teams compiled a record of 36 wins and 12 losses in ASA National Championships.

In recognition of his contribution to the game of softball as a team manager, this citation bears witness that his name shall forever be in the Kentucky Softball Association Hall of Honor.
