KENTUCKY SOFTBALL HALL OF FAME
Breedlove, Bob
Inducted: 2009
Louisville, Kentucky
Bob Breedlove was one of the best fast-pitch ball players to come out of Louisville. He was a lifetime .350 hitter as well as a great fielder— a vital part of the Louisville Sterling Beer teams of the early 1950s. From 1950 thru 1954 this team was sixty and one in Metro League Play and undefeated in Metro Tourney play (20-0). The ’52 team won the Mid-central Regional and competed in the National Tournament in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Bob also played for Crecos and Ford V-8. He completed his career starting in the Major Slow Pitch League for the Brewers. Bob was named to numerous All-Tournament and All-Star teams during his career. We are proud and privileged to be able to induct Bob Breedlove to the Kentucky Softball Hall of Fame & Honor.
