THIS AWARD IS IN RECOGNITION OF OUTSTANDING ABILITY AS DEMONSTRATED IN SOFTBALL COMPETITION. DONNA PLAYED MOST OF HER SOFTBALL WITH CINCINNATI TEAMS, BUT SINCE SHE WAS ELECTED TO THE NATIONAL SOFTBALL HALL OF FAME IN 1979, SHE LIVES IN COVINGTON, KENTUCKY, AND IS A PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER AT HOLMES HIGH SCHOOL. SHE WAS AN OUTSTANDING PLAYER AND THE KENTUCKY HALL OF FAME COMMITTEE ELECTED HER TO THE KENTUCKY HALL OF FAME.
IF ANYTHING DESCRIBED DONNA WOLFE. IT WAS VERSATILITY. SHE PLAYED IN 12 CONSECUTIVE NATIONAL TOURNAMENTS AND WAS NAMED AN ALL-AMERICAN FIVE TIMES AT FOUR DIFFERENT POSITIONS. DONNA WON AND LOST RECORD WAS 65-12. SHE WAS A MEMBER OF SIX NATIONAL CHAMPS IN 1964, 1966, 1968, 1970,1972, AND 1973. IN NATIONAL TOURNAMENT PLAY, HER BATTING AVERAGE WAS .484, AND LIFETIME .501.
