SHE PLAYED FOR 17 YEARS 1965-1981 WITH CITIZEN'S BANK AND TRUST COMPANY OF GLASGOW KENTUCKY AS A PITCHER. SHE ORGANIZED THE GLASGOW CITIZEN'S BANK AND TRUST COMPANY SOFTBALL TEAM AND WAS KNOWN AS "TEAM MOTHER", WHEN SHE RETIRED FROM SOFTBALL, SHE RECEIVED A PLAQUE FROM THE BANK WHICH PART OF THE INSCRIPTION READS: "THANKS FOR MAKING CITIZEN'S BANK AND TRUST COMPANY SOFTBALL TEAM ONE OF THE MOST OUTSTANDING IN KENTUCKY". SHE WON 200 GAMES. HER TEAM WON 40 TROPHIES, PLAYED IN 10 STATE CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENTS, PLAYED IN 3 MID-WEST REGIONAL TOURNAMENTS, AND WAS SELECTED ON THE MID
-WEST REGIONAL ALL STAR TEAM. SHE WAS A GREAT PRESSURE
HITTER, BATTING IN RUNS WHEN NEEDED TO WIN. SHE HAD A LIFETIME BATTING AVERAGE OF .376.
