Geary, Ron

Ron Geary’s career in slow pitch spanned 31 years from 1975 through 2006. Ron played for a number of outstanding teams such as GE-Wacos, Local 761, Clark Trucking, and Wildcat Fence in Industrial and ‘A’ level play. His team won championships in the ASA 19th Region (’75), Indiana State Industrial (’79) ‘A’ World Industrial (’80), NSA ‘C’ World Series (’84), and a Gold medal four times (Industrial ’87 & ’88, 35 & Over ’87 & ’88). He also continued to play in various older age groups where he and his teams continued to enjoy success. Altogether he has been named to ten All- American or All-World teams and played on six teams that have won championships. We are proud and privileged to be able to induct Ron Geary into the Kentucky Softball Hall of Fame & Honor.
