She began playing at age 10 in Glasgow, Kentucky. She played
for 22 years and was named Most Valuable Player six times and
All State twice. As an umpire, she called balls and strikes for 23
ears at all levels of men's & women's leagues and tournaments.
As a tournament director, she has handled men's and women's
events for 25 years including numerous ASA district regional
and state qualifiers along with hosting the BGSG.
As an administrator in parks and recreation departments, she
has been instrumental in acquiring land and building men's and
women's softball fields for her communities. To date, she has
built 12.
She continues her service to the game by looking for further
avenues to expand ASA softball in Central Kentucky.
