"Dottie" Sheridan was quite possibly the best outfielder to have played Kentucky fast pitch softball. Dottie played for 12 Louisville Metro Champions, 13 Kentucky State Champions, Kentucky State Runners-up and one National Runners-up --the championship game being a 2-1 loss
to Alameda, California played at Chicago's Soldier Field in 1939 before 20,000 fans. She was named to numerous All-Star and All-Tournament teams during her career.
