Her career began while playing for the Ashland Bombers from 1968 to 70. They participated in the state tournament during those years and won the State Championship in 1968. She also participated in the National Tournament the same year in Cincinnati, Ohio. For the 1971-72 seasons, she played with another Ashland team, the Gateway Rebels, and again she participated on a State Championship team in 1971 advancing on to Satellite Beach, Florida for her second National Tournament. During the 1973 season, she played with the 7-Up team out of Huntington, West Virginia, and claimed her third State Championship.

In 1974-75, she was a member of the Glenn’s Sporting Goods team out of Huntington, West Virginia. They captured the state title both of those years, participated in National Regionals each season, and advanced to the National Tournament in Elk Grove, California for her third National Tournament.

From 1976 to 1980, she played with the Citizens Bank of Glasgow team. They finished as Kentucky State Runners-Up in both 1978 and 1979. During her playing career, she received 21 All-Tournament awards and 3 M.V.P.s. Once her playing career was completed, she umpired numerous State A & B Tournaments and has served as the Deputy District Commissioner in Ashland.
